What Do We Do?

At the Canine Impact Foundation, we dedicate ourselves to healing and empowerment through the unique bond between humans and dogs. Our core mission is to train rescue dogs to serve as emotional support animals, therapy dogs, and companions, helping survivors of domestic abuse find solace and strength. In addition to our training programs, we provide survivors with education and advocacy to aid their recovery and foster resilience. Looking ahead, our long-term goal is to open a dedicated shelter for abuse victims, offering a safe haven where they can heal alongside their canine companions. Here, we will also provide animal-assisted therapy, leveraging the therapeutic potential of dogs to facilitate emotional recovery and build a community of support and hope. This holistic approach is at the heart of what we do, aiming to rebuild lives and restore confidence for both two-legged and four-legged survivors.
